Lessons & Mentorship

At Atelier Musical Carrey, we offer three distinct approaches to music education, each tailored to the individual needs and aspirations of our students.

From regular piano and violin tuition to specialist consultations and advanced artistic mentorship, our teaching combines technical foundations, musical understanding and the experience of professional performers.

01. Individual Music Tuition

Personalised, one-to-one piano and violin lessons for children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to advanced musicians.

Our regular lessons are tailored to each student's musical interests, abilities and aspirations. Teaching encompasses instrumental technique, musical understanding, interpretation and repertoire development, with preparation for ABRSM and Trinity examinations where appropriate.

Format: Weekly individual lessons, delivered online.

Suitable for: Beginners, developing students, advanced pupils and adult learners.

02. Specialist Consultations

Specialist consultations offer focused, independent guidance for musicians seeking a fresh professional perspective on a particular aspect of their playing.

Whether preparing for an important audition, refining an examination programme or addressing a specific technical or interpretative challenge, each consultation provides detailed feedback and practical recommendations.

Format: Individual online consultations, typically 60–90 minutes, arranged as needed.

Suitable for: Students with an existing teacher, examination candidates, advanced amateurs and musicians preparing for auditions or performances.

03. Artistic Mentorship

Designed for advanced students and aspiring professional musicians, Artistic Mentorship offers a deeper, ongoing approach to musical development.

Working closely with an experienced professional musician, students explore interpretation, musical identity, repertoire development and performance preparation through a programme tailored to their individual ambitions.

Unlike regular tuition or one-off consultations, mentorship provides continuity, individual artistic guidance and feedback between sessions.

Format: Bespoke programmes, typically over 3–6 months, combining individual online sessions with personalised feedback.

Suitable for: Advanced students, pre-conservatoire musicians, aspiring professionals and experienced adult musicians seeking artistic development.
